RSS-Start
RSS-Start is a RSS feed reader and displayer. The output is displayed in a completely customizable HTML file. As the name implies, its main use is to serve a start page for your browser (at least that’s where I use it for).
Description
RSS-Start reads headlines (the first 10) from RSS feeds and inserts them in a HTML page. The user is free to modify the lay-out of the page, which feeds are shown and where they are shown. The page is updated every 5 minutes (it would take too long to download all feeds every time the user loads or refreshes the page). It acts like a very minimalistic webserver, so when you browse to http://localhost:4321 it shows your page. The program is only buildable on Linux and maybe other Unices as well.
Documentation (README) is in the .tar.gz archive.
